About Your New Role

We are seeking resilient and patient individuals to care for people with disabilities. As a Disability Support Worker at Multicap, you'll provide support to help customers navigate challenges and reach their potential. Every day will be different, but your duties may include assistance with personal care, household duties, cooking and medication management. Above all, you will provide companionship and build meaningful, caring relationships.

About You

  • Experience in manual handling and providing personal care including bathing, toileting and dressing
  • Coordinating engaging activities including a variety of creative arts and games
  • Providing support by helping customers achieve their goals and developing daily skills
  • Assisting customers who have a wide range of disabilities and challenging behaviours
  • Implementing individual care plans
  • Hub Service hours: Monday to Friday between 9am - 4pm
  • In Home Supports, SIL and Community Access Services: Flexible availability for Morning, Afternoon, Night and Overnight shifts.

What You Need

  • Current Driver's License
  • Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
