BRIEF DESCRIPTION:
Practice Lead for Enhanced Intake - Mental Health Clinician. This is a full-time permanent role with Infant Child Youth Mental Health Wellbeing Service - Allied Health Gr 3, Clinical Psychologist Gr3 and RPN Gr 4

The Practice Lead will be a valued member of the ICY-AMHWS to undertake responsibility for leading, coordinating and liaising with ACIS Triage, ED response when young people present to ED’s across AWH Emergency Departments during business hours. The position will assist in complex care planning and service co-ordination for the improved outcomes for children, young people and their families.
- Demonstrated capability in the provision of a full range mental health interventions at a senior level including mental state examinations, risk formulation and assessment, and psychological assessments, including mental health crisis assessments.
- Demonstrated capability in the provision of individual, family and group, treatments for children and young people presenting with a range of psychiatric, behavioral, emotional, social or developmental issues.
- Unencumbered registration with APHRA for Nursing, Occupational Therapist, Clinical Psychologist, eligibility for membership with AASW for Social work
- Registered Nurse to hold post graduate qualifications in mental health or to have completed a specialist undergraduate psychiatric program and/or related field.

Mental Health Services at Albury Wodonga Health
AWH is an Area Mental Health and Wellbeing Service, providing mental health treatment, care and support, including delivering Alcohol and Other Drugs services. We deliver 10 specialised community-based programs, along with three acute care services and three facilities dedicated to recovery and rehabilitation. We also provide services supporting families coping with parental mental illness and facilitating connections to carer consultants.
Our Mental Health and Wellbeing teams comprise mental health clinicians with a background in nursing, occupational therapy, social work, and psychology, all of whom have experience in helping people through a range of therapies. The diversity of our service provides a range of experiences for our team and will assist you in expanding and embedding your clinical practice skills.

Relocating to the region?
Albury Wodonga Health has access to the Regional Mental Health Workforce Incentive program. The Incentive program was designed by the Department of Health to support the attraction, relocation, and retention of mental health and alcohol and other drug (AOD) workers to priority positions area mental health and wellbeing services across rural and regional Victoria.
Candidates relocating may be eligible for grants of up to $20,000 to cover expenses such as removalist, travel fees, accommodation costs, school fees, etc. For a more detailed understanding of the incentive program, Rural Workforce Agency Victoria (RWAV).
