    Our client provides Disability and Therapy Services for children, adolescents and adults, through Supported Independent Living, Short Term Accommodation, Pathways Program and Allied Health therapy programs (including Speech Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy and Psychology).     Duties include:

    • Working in a culturally diverse environment, provide a contemporary, evidence-based speech pathology service, including assessment, treatment planning and evaluation, for people presenting with a wide range of conditions and syndromes
    • Work collaboratively with families/caregivers to assess, plan, implement and review targeted and meaningful developmental therapy
    • Select, develop, and tailor augmentative and alternative communication systems, programs and resources for participants with communication needs based upon speech pathology assessments
    • Maintain internal and external stakeholder communication
    • Lead and contribute to the development of individual and group programs within the company service areas
    • Attendance and contribution to team and organisational meetings, including the provision of in-services and quality and service development activities
    • Ability to implement WHS, Risk Management and Quality Assurance requirements
    • Ensure billable Key Performance Indicators are met

    Essential Criteria:
    Not limited to but before you apply, we need you to have

    • Undergraduate or post graduate qualification in Speech Pathology
    • Current membership with Speech Pathology Australia (or eligible for membership) Minimum 2 years of clinical experience with a paediatric and/or adultcaseload
    • Demonstrated clinical competency and experience in conducting assessments and writing
    • high quality individualised assessment and program reports
    • Strong commitment to supporting clients to achieve their goals working in a person/family centred practice model
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills demonstrated by the ability to interact and negotiate with a wide range of people
    • Experience working with clients and families from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds
    • Current Ochre Card, Criminal History Check, FirstAid Certificate and NT Drivers Licence
