ACCOUNTS PAYABLE DATA ENTRY CLERK - Casual Role - St Leonards - Sydney Office

Hamilton Island is seeking a casual Accounts Payable Data Entry Clerk to join our finance team based at our St Leonards office. Immediate start available

Your Role

You will work closely with the Accounts Payable team to ensure that all amounts payable are processed accurately and in accordance with deadlines, whilst maintaining a good relationship with both internal staff and external suppliers. You will also:

Ensure that daily processing and follow-up duties are completed efficiently and accurately Match invoices to purchase orders, investigating variances in a timely manner Ensure all payments are accompanied by appropriate supporting documentation, properly documented, correctly coded and authorised in accordance with delegated authorities Perform general administrative tasks as required

About You

You have excellent personal presentation, communication and interpersonal skills. Strong attention to detail is essential for this position combined with the ability to work autonomously as well as part of a diverse team. You work well under pressure and to set deadlines and meet them.

You will also have:

HSC or equivalent (Essential) Previous Accounts Payable experience (Highly regarded) Basic accounting knowledge (Desirable) Previous hospitality experience (Desirable) Experience with TechnologyOne Financials (Finance One) (Highly regarded)
