About the Role
We seek a talented and dedicated Developer Programmer to join our dynamic team at Srans Empire Pty Ltd. You will play a key role in advancing the technical infrastructure of our innovative apps, Lipi-Learn Punjabi and VIRASAT App, which are platforms dedicated to preserving Punjabi culture and bridging emotional connections to heritage. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to technology that fosters cultural pride and supports aspiring writers and creators.
Key Responsibilities
- Researching, consulting, analysing, and assessing the requirements of system programs.
- Identifying limitations and shortcomings in existing systems and related processes, procedures, and methods.
- Testing, debugging, diagnosing, and resolving errors in application programming according to established testing protocols, guidelines, and quality standards to ensure programs meet specifications.
- Writing and updating program code to fulfil system requirements, designs, and technical specifications while adhering to quality standards.
- Writing and maintaining technical documentation, user manuals, and operational procedures.
- Providing advice and expertise to develop proposals and strategies for software design, including financial assessments and cost estimations for recommending software purchases and upgrades.
About You
- Australian citizens and permanent residents are strongly encouraged to apply.
- A Bachelor’s degree or higher qualification is required.
- Strong experience in software engineering, particularly in mobile application development.
- Passionate about creating user-centred platforms that celebrate culture and heritage.
- Proficient in programming languages, app development frameworks, and cloud technologies.
- Proven ability to identify and solve technical challenges efficiently.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a focus on teamwork.
