We are representing a prestigious client working on a major WA-based project, looking for a highly skilled Senior Electrical Engineer to join their team. As the Senior Electrical Engineer, you will lead the electrical engineering discipline for a large-scale, complex project, playing a crucial role in the design, execution, and delivery of key engineering solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead electrical engineering activities for the project, ensuring that electrical systems meet project specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements.
  • Manage the design and implementation of electrical systems, including power distribution, control systems, and equipment specifications.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the timely delivery of project milestones.
  • Oversee procurement of electrical materials and ensure the availability of resources to maintain project schedules.
  • Conduct site visits to monitor work progress, ensure safety compliance, and resolve technical issues on the ground.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior engineers, ensuring high levels of team performance.
  • Develop and review engineering reports, technical documentation, and project plans.
  • Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and contractors to address technical queries and manage project changes.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and quality standards, managing risks to maintain the safety and integrity of the project.

What You’ll Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
  • 7+ years of experience in electrical engineering roles, ideally within mining, oil & gas, or large-scale infrastructure projects.
  • Proven expertise in designing, commissioning, and maintaining electrical systems for complex projects.
  • Strong project management skills, with experience in coordinating teams, timelines, and deliverables.
  • In-depth knowledge of safety, quality, and environmental standards.
  • Proficiency in engineering software, with a strong focus on industry-standard programs such as AutoCAD, ETAP, or similar.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to liaise with clients, contractors, and team members effectively.
