As a Clinical Nurse your responsibilities will include:
- Demonstrate high-level professional nursing practice as evidenced by adhering to AHPRA professional standards, code of ethics and conduct, legislative requirements and Healthscope's polices and processes
- Support the nursing team with planning, assessment, implementation and evaluation of excellent standard of evidence based, person centred patient care
- Foster learning within the unit, by demonstrating and sharing your high-level Oncology and palliative care nursing skills on the job with colleagues, peers, ENs, graduates and students
- Maintaining your own professional learning and continuous professional development
- Act as a valued member of the inter-disciplinary team to provide exceptional patient care by actively contributing to team processes and practices
- Collaborate with external partners to ensure patients receive a high quality of care across the health care continuum
- Maintain professional and constructive working relationships with our VMO partners, using a customer service mindset, to enable high quality patient outcomes
Essential Criteria:
- Current AHPRA registration
- Minimum of 2-5 years' experience in Oncology Nursing
- Post graduate study completed or working towards
- Understanding of the Australian National Commission in Quality and Safety Ten National Standards
- Demonstrate the ability to show initiative and work within a team environment
- Excellent communication skills
