About the Role:

  • Business Development: Create and implement strategies to grow the customer base in Brisbane, with an initial focus on securing new business (70%) while also managing and maintaining existing accounts.
  • Customer Engagement: Actively connect with prospective customers through cold calling, in-person visits, and strategic outreach.
  • Market Insight: Stay updated on industry trends and new product releases to drive business growth and strategy.
  • Package: Base Salary + Super, Fully Maintained Company Car, Phone + Laptop. Profit Share Bonuses paid annually.

  
About You:

  • Experience: You have a proven track record as a Business Development Manager, or you are an internal sales professional in a relevant sector ready to step up.
  • Industry Knowledge: You possess a knowledge of the industrial supply market, particularly construction equipment, fasteners, power tools, adhesives, and tools.
  • Customer Focused: Skilled at cold calling, relationship-building, and driving business growth.
  • Autonomous & Driven: Capable of independently managing and growing your customer base with minimal supervision, leveraging your initiative and self-direction.
  • Travel Ready: Willing to travel within your territory to engage with clients. A driver’s license is essential.
  • Work rights: Australian/NZ citizen or resident.
