Job Summary: We are seeking a qualified and experienced Radiographer / Sonographer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have dual qualifications in radiography and sonography, with experience in a range of imaging modalities. This role involves performing diagnostic imaging procedures and ensuring high-quality patient care.

About the Role:

We have multiple contracts available across Hospital & Health services in QLD ranging from 4-12 weeks with potential to extended. Duties for this contract include:

  • Perform general X-ray, trauma, and mobile imaging procedures.
  • Conduct a variety of ultrasound examinations including General, Obstetrics/Gynecology, Limited MSK, Breast, Small Parts, Vascular, and Pediatrics.
  • Utilize QDoc Booking System for scheduling and managing imaging appointments.
  • Operate and manage the Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS) for image storage and retrieval.
  • Collaborate with medical staff to interpret imaging results and support patient diagnosis and treatment.
  • Provide exceptional patient care, ensuring comfort and safety during imaging procedures.
  • Maintain and operate imaging equipment following safety protocols and guidelines.
  • Accurately document and record imaging procedures and patient information.

Key Requirements:

  • Dual Radiographer / Sonographer Qualification.
  • Proven experience in general X-ray, trauma, and mobile imaging.
  • Trophon certificate
  • QLD Radiation License
  • Experience in a range of ultrasound modalities: General, Obstetrics/Gynecology, Limited MSK, Breast, Small Parts, Vascular, and Pediatrics.
  • Proficiency with QDoc Booking System for Imaging.
  • Experience with Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS).
  • Australian working rights
  • Updated Australian Immunisation History
  • National Police Check
  • Manual and patient handling
  • Infection control
  • Aggressive behavior management
  • Mandatory reporting by Registered Nurses, and/or Midwifes for reasonable suspicions of child abuse and neglect

Additionally, the candidate must agree to undertake any of the following as required by the HHS:

  • Integrated electronic medical record training
  • Online induction training
  • Any other training as requested
