The Opportunity
Veolia ANZ is currently looking for an experienced and skilled Branch Manager to join the friendly team in Rockhampton 4702.
The main purpose of this role is to have overall accountability and responsibility for the management of the Branch to ensure efficient, cost-effective and profitable operations that are safe, legally, environmentally and ethically responsible.
You will manage and coordinate team performance (including sub-contractors) and provide direction and support.
Support planning processes for the branch with Management, including supporting the development of branch business plans and annual budgeting process.
This is a full time, permanent role which would suit someone who can bring positive leadership to the workplace.
This site requires a high level of regulatory and corporate compliance to maintain legal and operational standards.

What you'll be responsible for
- Ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all site workers and visitors
- Responsible for all site operations, including reporting on financial performance and reviewing operating costs
- Managing any incidents on site and report in a timely manner
- Actively participate in project management of site improvements
- Commercial reviews and forecasting
What you'll need to be successful
Solid and relevant experience in managing teams ideally in process management.
The following types of experience or exposure would also be very highly regarded:
- Tertiary qualifications in Business, supply chain / logistics or demonstrable experience process management
- A proven track record in operations
- A background in environmental compliance and / or health and safety would be highly regarded.
- An exceptional ability to build positive relationships at all levels
- Strong communications skills
