ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking some experienced and driven Buyers to lead our vision within our team. You will be responsible for leading the category and working with our Trend team to deliver on big ideas and key lifestyle items that align with our brand DNA and which our customers love. You will contribute to department reviews, apply learnings to category decision making and chase growth opportunities to ensure the success and profitability of our brand. You will collaborate with Production and support your Buying team to deliver on products that are in line with category strategies, and which are compliant and cost-effective. If you are passionate about leading and developing people and love developing and buying amazing products that our customers want, then we want to meet with you

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Tertiary qualification / degree in relevant field i.e. Buying
  • Demonstrated experience working with production, trends and buying teams to achieve strategy vision
  • Proven leadership experience, with the ability to coach and lead a team
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate to internal and external stakeholders with confidence
  • Confidence in your analytical skills to make high-impact decisions regarding your category
  •  Strong organisation, planning and time management skills
  • Ability to make confident decisions that will determine the success of the brand
  • Proficient capabilities in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
