Contract Supervsior

Our Mining and Rock Excavation Australia (RDT) are looking for adaptable and dynamic Contract Supervisor to support our team in Orange, NSW - Cadia Mine. This position is residential and experience is essential.

Responsibilities of this role consists of but are not limited to the below:

Investigate all reported instances of alleged consumable fault or premature failure Perform all duties and functions on the mine site in accordance with the highest standards of workplace safety, work practices and site-specific instructions and requirements Visit underground mining operations sites, as required, and inspect, check and verify quantities of drilling consumables Supervise the running of the Cost Per Metre (CPM) Contract to ensure high customer service and contractual requirements are met along with best practice drill solutions advice Liaise with Mine Engineers & Mining Management on a daily basis, maintain positive relationships with all stakeholders Supervise the Contract Operative team in the daily running of contract and daily refurbishment of RDT products to Epiroc standards Ensure the branch inventory is maintained in accordance with company policy consistent with contract requirements and regular stock level reviews Follow and Comply with Epiroc policies and procedures and maintain a high safety standard at all times

Requirements to be successful in this role:

Drilling operational and or product knowledge Experience in a similar role Driver's license Tablet/PC/email/copier skills Industry experience Forklift ticket Experience in Underground Mining Operations, experience in Bit Sharpening duties, Safety requirements applicable for Mining industry
