We wish to complement our existing Fulton Hogan Utilities team with an experienced Project Engineer/Shutdown Coordinator to join our newly awarded 10 year program of works for the City of Gold Coast. In this role you'll be responsible for:

  • Working with our Design Team, Works delivery Team for the management and coordination of complex shutdown/tie in works

  • Development and management of project schedules, updating shutdown plans and working to weekly and monthly schedules with all stakeholders

  • Assist with the development of Scope of Works and managing approvals with the client

  • Design review, site installation and commissioning assistance of civil/mechanical packages

  • Attend and participate in HAZOPs, SiD reviews, CHAIR’s and other workshops as required

  • Overseeing schedules and quality documentation.

How you'll connect to the role:

  • A degree level qualification in Mechanical Engineering

  • Sound experience in a project engineering or senior project engineering role

  • Experience on construction projects in water infrastructure, including Water Treatment Plants / waste water infrastructure

  • Knowledge of project financial management, forecasting, procurement, design and contracts management functions
