ABOUT THIS ROLE

Based in Gladstone, we are seeking a professional, experienced, MC line haul driver to operate AB Triple Road train tankers with occasional B-Double work. 

Primary duty is collecting bulk used oil from JJ’s depots (primarily across Queensland and Northern Territory), and delivering to the refinery in Gladstone. 

We are an essential services industry, offering stability to employees and reliability to our customers. All training will be provided by a depot authorised trainer.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Operate an AB-Triple oil tanker set with occasional b-double work 
  • Away up to 5 nights
  • Start and finish at Gladstone – no FIFO
  • Follow approved routes and weekly schedules
  • Be able to complete paperwork accurately and neatly – NHVR work diary, run sheets.
  • Follow JJ’s Policies, Procedures and comply with HVNL at all times
  • Report defects accurately and in a timely manner

ABOUT YOU

  • Have a current Multi Combination licence and be experienced in operating MC line haul vehicles 
  • BFM accredited and able to complete paperwork accurately and neatly
  • Work to weekly schedules provided by operations team
  • Travel away for up to 6 days at a time - Be willing to work 12-14 hours per day
  • Live in Gladstone region - No FIFO
  • Be subject to a pre-employment medical
  • Be committed to maintaining high standards of safety, compliance, and customer service
  • Bulk liquid experience & DG licence (advantage but not essential)
