Roving Trainer Assessor

NRW Civil and Mining are now recruiting for a dedicated, passionate and skilled Trainer Assessor for a roving role to work on various sites and rosters throughout WA.

To be considered for this position you require the following as a minimum:

• Training & Assessor qualification (TAE40116) with learning literacy and numeracy (LLN)
• Previous experience in a Trainer and Assessor role within the Civil or Mining sectors
• Valid Heavy Vehicle Drivers’ Licence (HR)
• Significant experience in all surface mobile equipment types and hold a current competency or Statement of Attainment for the equipment type being assessed
• Relevant operational experience in all surface mobile equipment
• Ability to work independently and as part of a close-knit team

As a Roving Trainer Assessor reporting to the Training Manager; you will be responsible for:

• Conducting Theory, Practical and VOC assessments (this may include ongoing training along with upskilling personnel to meet operational requirements)
• Training mobile equipment operators and ensuring personnel are fully competent on the equipment they are operating
• Interacting daily with crew members to assist with site safety requirements
• Ensuring compliance with the NRW training procedure
