The Faculty of Sciences, Engineering and Technology (SET) is a thriving centre of learning, teaching and research in a vast range of engineering and science schools and disciplines. The multidisciplinary hub develops future leaders, and actively partners with innovative industries to solve scientific problems of global significance. Many of its current academic staff are world leaders in their fields and graduates are highly regarded by employers.
The School of is home to world class expertise working to solve some of the most challenging societal problems in pioneering ways. We have course offerings across two disciplines:
Discipline of Computer Science offers high quality accredited degrees in computer science and software engineering and has strong links with industry and a robust research ethos Discipline of Mathematical Sciences provides an intellectual environment, developing students with skills in high level mathematics. Specific degrees in mathematical sciences and computer sciences with specialisations in pure mathematics, applied mathematics and statistics.We are seeking dedicated and passionate casual staff to assist with the delivery of our Semester 2 undergraduate and postgraduate courses, commencing Monday 22 July 2024.

Ensure you meet the essential criteria: As a minimum, the applicant will have completed a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or be enrolled in a honours program in a relevant fieldGood technical knowledge of the key teaching components of the courses you are applying forExcellent communication skills, including the ability to clearly explain technical information to studentsAvailable and flexible to meet the minimum hourly/sessional requirements for the courseAble to work collegially to support excellent teaching within the SchoolAre an Australian citizen or possess eligible Australian working visa**Please note: Prospective employees are required to provide evidence of their Australian citizenship or working rights.
