ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

As a Consultant Geologist you will become an integral part of a multidisciplinary team of professionals, working on a variety of challenging and exciting assignments. This role offers a chance to work on pioneering projects and make impactful contributions on projects in NSW and across Australia.

  • Conduct geological surveys and analyze subsurface data.
  • Collaborate with geophysicists, engineers, and environmental scientists to develop comprehensive geological models.
  • Utilize advanced geological software for data processing, interpretation, and visualization.
  • Prepare detailed reports and present findings to clients and stakeholders.
  • Participate in fieldwork and manage data collection activities.
  • Ensure all geological activities comply with industry standards and safety regulations.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and innovation within geological methodologies
  • Mentor junior team members and support their professional development

ABOUT YOU

  • Bachelor’s degree in Geology, Earth Sciences, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred
  • At least 5 years of experience in geology consulting, preferably within a similar environment
  • Proficiency in geological software such as ArcGIS, Petrel, or similar
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex geological data
  • Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration and client interactions
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
  • Adaptable, committed, and a team player with a passion for geology
