Our Opportunity

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager this role is based at our Lidcombe site.

This position is responsible for operating and maintaining a safe and tidy Maintenance store and act as point of contact to receive goods for the site.

Main responsibilities will include but will not be limited to:

• Source and purchase spare parts with the emphasis on cost, timely delivery and quality.
• Generate Purchase orders for stock.
• Place orders with service providers as required.
• Maintain inventory/procurement control for allotted materials
• Raise all claims for damages and faulty materials.
• Provide service to other departments, requiring stock. information / valuation.
• Perform routine inventory checks and stock reconciliations.
• manage and coordinate the purchasing of inventory and direct charge items in line with the Group
• Purchasing Policy, in full, on time and at the best possible price.

To be successful in this position, you will have:

• Knowledge and experience working with Microsoft Office suite
• Strong SAP knowledge
• High attention to detail;
• Effective communication skills.
• Experience liaising with external and internal customers
