UGL have a immediate Pipefitter position available to join our site based team in Karratha on an even time roster.

The Joint Venture

UGL | Altrad (UAJV) have been awarded a contract for Brownfields Onshore Implementation Services in Karratha, WA. Services to be provided include the detailed planning and execution of access, fire protection application, blasting and painting, cladding and insulation, mechanical, pipe-spool equipment replacement and electrical services.

Qualifications:

• Trade Certificate or experience in spooling and installation of pipework from isometric drawings.
• 5 years experience in a Australian LNG facility or willingness to obtain a Safer Together Certification 
• Able to perform duties, maintaining high standards in both Safety and Quality.
• Duties will include site fitting of both spooled and random length pipe, working with but not limited to carbon steel, stainless steel and HDPE pipe.
• Able to fit up pipe as per weld procedure specifications
• Will be required to work at heights
