About the Role
We're seeking motivated individuals to join our Perioperative Services Team. This role involves clerical and administrative duties vital to the department's smooth operation. You'll ensure patient confidentiality and information security, handle admissions, discharge processes, and maintain accurate data entry.

This role is essential to the smooth functioning of the department and offers the opportunity to liaise with the multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal health outcomes for our patients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to clinical staff and ensure accurate data enty
  • Process admissions and discharges
  • Manage and distribute theatre lists
  • Support the Preadmission Unit
  • Act as customer/patient liaison

Skills and Experience

  • Strong customer service skills with an administration and reception background
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, and Outlook, and experience with Clinical applications would be advantageous e.g. Patient Administration Systems and Digital/Electronic Medical records systems an advantage.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and sounds data entry skills
  • Excellent organisation and multitasking abilities
  • Initiative, flexibility and problem-solving skills.
  • Team player with a client-focused approach
