Who are we looking for?

We’re looking for a  Communications Advisor - Technical Services  to join our Marketing & Communications team.

Working with an energetic and high performing team, you will:

Develop communications plans and discrete deliverables about technology innovation and automation workstreams, leveraging global and regional channels.  Develop internal communications about standardization of workflows, tools and technologies created. Develop and execute communications plans to internally launch/communicate components of the Technical Services portfolio to the Enterprise. Then, create standardized processes for communicating ongoing outcomes from those programs.  Deliver communications for ongoing components of the Technical Services portfolio, including but not limited to Technical Conferences, the Chair's Award for Technical Excellence, Service Line Leader Announcements, TX28 Fund projects, Strategic Service Line Changes, etc.  Develop a Governance to manage the annual communications strategy and workflow for the Technical Services Leadership Group.  Write, review and publish content for the Technical Services portfolio, including: iConnect portal pages, emails, Viva Engage posts, iConnect News articles and broader communications campaigns that accelerate the profile of GHD’s technical authority.  Develop Delivery Levels to standardize and optimize communications tasks, creating greater efficiency and repeatability for ‘Secondary Foci’ projects.  Identify content that would be suitable for web and digital channels and work with relevant leaders to ensure this content is reused.  Graphic design direction and creative input for communications collateral, infographics, PowerPoint presentations, including the co-ordination of video productions as required. Report and provide insights on engagement and outcomes of all programs and key initiatives.

What you will bring to the team:  

Tertiary qualified in Marketing, Communications, Writing or similar with demonstrated experience in managing, developing and implementing fully integrated strategic communications, to advance business outcomes and goals. Stakeholder Engagement experience, including the facilitation of regular meetings, the fostering of cross-functional partnerships and the planning and facilitation of workshops and listening/feedback exercises when required.  Experience in change management, including participating in strategy development, key messaging, engagement with other functions, and delivery.  A creative thinker able to produce unique, appropriate and memorable communication campaigns. Ability to take briefs directly from senior leaders to all people across the organization. Skilled communicator, able to convince on paper, online and in person with highly developed written, oral, interpersonal, listening and influencing skills.
