This is a Parental Leave Cover role is offered as a 6 months fixed term contract from August 2020.
The successful applicant will be given the opportunity to treat the department as if it were their own business. They will be given the flexibility to tailor the stores service and products offering to meet the specific needs of the customers within the local area.
Working as a part of an enthusiastic team, in a highly competitive supermarket environment, applicants will be expected to demonstrate:
Fresh food retail knowledge Fruit and Vegetable experience is essential Expertise in supervising team members An understanding of ordering, cost control expertise and gross profit Accurate team rostering will be an advantage Passion and enthusiasm, with a very "hands on" approach Unparalleled commitment to customer service Excellent communication skills Ability to liaise with both team members and management A flair for merchandising Strong leadership and delegation skills Commitment to work health and safety standardsTo succeed within our organisation, applicants must be able to:
