Your opportunity:

Our Field Services team has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Fleet Maintenance Delivery Lead to join their newly formed Commercial and Partnerships team

Field Services delivers Urban Utilities’ maintenance program, delivering more than 100,000 maintenance activities each year, maintaining services 24 hours a day and seven days a week, through a range of strategic and tactical commercial agreements. Urban Utilities Fleet includes light passenger vehicles, commercial, utility and heavy vehicles and plant such as excavators and trailers with an annual investment between $4 to 5M.

The Fleet Maintenance Delivery Lead is responsible for the execution of Fleet Maintenance activities, ensuring the effective procurement and maintenance of fleet. The Fleet Maintenance Delivery Lead will provide subject matter expertise on fleet maintenance delivery, will coordinate internal staff with fleet maintenance roles, ensure service provider pre-qualification and performance management, lead the improvement of system capabilities and data capture processes.

About you:

  • Tertiary qualification in business, logistics or relevant field. (preferred)

  • Fleet Management Certificate or equivalent. (preferred)

  • Demonstrated experience in executing fleet maintenance, including understanding of legislated requirements and Chain of Responsibility

  • Understanding of outsource vs insource fleet maintenance and experience managing fleet maintenance contracts.

  • Strong demonstrated leadership skills with a proven ability to manage multidisciplinary, integrated teams. You'll foster an inclusive and high-performing culture to safely deliver exceptional results.
