The Future Generation Joint Venture brings together the combined engineering experience and expertise of WeBuild, Clough and Lane and has been selected to design construct Snowy 2.0 . This project is based within the Snowy Mountains in NSW and will deliver one of the largest pumped hydro schemes in the world.

The Material QA Engineer shall be responsible for review and monitoring of all material requirements, received or delivered on site and the same time surveillance on construction activities to verify compliance with drawings, specifications of all installed materials.
Qualifications:
Tertiary Qualifications or related discipline such as, Degree in Civil Engineering / Mechanical Engineering or equivalent. White CardExperience:
Minimum 5 years’ experience working in the Construction Industry in a similar role – preferred Experience working on large scale construction projects or other suitable projects works Good understanding of Quality Specification (Q6) and ISO AS/NZS 9001 requirements. Sound experience and knowledge of construction materials and related specifications Experience in Microsoft office suite and any EMDS.Required Competencies:
Good working knowledge of Management System Good knowledge of statistical techniques, quality tools Exceptional problem-solving skills Strong Initiative and proactive nature Key collaborative skills Strong stakeholder management skills across different levels Exceptional written and verbal communication skills Well-developed time management skills High attention to detail Exceptional knowledge and ability in the use of the Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPointCore Accountabilities and Responsibilities:
Prepare and monitor a tool (worksheet with macros/hyperlinks) to manage all the quality information’s outstanding QC activities related to materials. Ensure compliance of all relevant permanent supplies and accompanying documentation. Monitor and manage the required tests (results, frequencies) according to the applicable standards and Employer’s Requirements. Review the Quality test results reports for the activities carried out. Liaise and deal with the Clients regarding the NCR and SOR open during their site inspections, providing them with the evidence to close them out related to materials. Interface with Laboratory to get the test results needed to prepare the reports required and to follow up the compliance with the Employer’s Requirements regarding the quality of the materials used in the different activities on site. Attend and witness some specific activities to be inspected by the QA/QC Department (i.e. material specifications and material deliveries) according to the Inspection Request issued by the Production/Construction Department.The above listed authorities & responsibilities are only a guide and may change as directed by your Manager/Supervisor or as per the requirements of FGJV Management.
