Maxwell Recruitment and Training are currently seeking applications from trade-qualified CNC machinists for ongoing workshop projects in the Newcastle and Maitland areas.

Our clients service Mining, Defence, and other industries that demand the highest levels of quality and innovation.

Benefits

  • $55+ plus per hour casual
  • $44+ per hour permanent 
  • Immediate start
  • 5 x 8 hours shifts per week minimum, overtime available

The Role

  • Machining and fabrication of a small to medium sized components for mining and defense industries
  • Supporting hydraulic overhaul shops
  • Reading and analysing drawings
  • Operating CNC and/or manual lathes and mills depending on experience

This is a great opportunity to join a well-known company with a strong safety culture.

To be considered you will require:

  • A Machinist CNC trade qualification;
  • Mazak controls experience preferred
  • Manufacture of heavy components
  • CNC Lathe and CNC Milling experience
  • Working as a team to complete multiple projects
  • Available to start ASAP
