About the Role
Our Wireless and Specialised Coverage Solutions division are seeking a Technical Services Manager to provide leadership of the Technical Services function within Wireless including the SAED, Technical & Engineering teams.

The successful applicant will lead the development of the Management Plans across for all projects and ensure compliance to these throughout site feasibility, detailed design and build.
 

Other Role Responsibilities:

  • Delivery of SAED, Engineering and Technical Services including establishment of all relevant standards, systems and processes to support quality project delivery in line with commercial and client expectations.
  • Ensure that all technical documents released are reviewed for quality, client compliance, meet the expected project budget, and are communicated to the project as required.
  • Liaise with the Ops enablement and Construction teams in establishing robust buildability assessment process to ensure site specific designs meet relevant standards, achieve first time right and are delivered within expected budget.
  • Lead the implementation of the Project Management Plans, SIP, and other CDRLs.
  • Project mobilisation inclusive of system set-up to ensure effective financial and project delivery reporting.
  • Project delivery plan based on scope of services, availability of resources and associated costs assessment with respect to project budget and delivery timeframes.
  • Ensure the review process for client notified changes is robust and adequate to drive commercial outcomes, cost management and quality outcomes in the future
  • Establish effective change variation management process to capture any in-field design change requests and ensure any proposed changes are reviewed by SME function, approved and designs re-certified prior to progressing build and any opportunity for commercial variation assessed and claimed
  • Encourage repeat work through exceptional business relationships.
     

About You
You will have a tertiary qualification in applicable field accompanied with extensive experience working within the Telecommunications sector, ideally with a strong practical knowledge in telecommunications in SAED, Engineering and construction.
 

You will also posses

  • Knowledge of a Telecommunications specialty including a SAED discipline, Structural or Electrical engineering, CAD, RF engineering (inclusive of EME compliance) or TX engineering.
  • Sound knowledge of construction, project and program controls, principles and practices (including budget).
  • Working knowledge of HSE systems and processes.
  • A strong sense of accountability and responsibility.
  • Proven relationship building, people leadership, coaching and/or mentoring skills.
  • Developed dispute resolution, collaboration and negotiation skills.
  • Flexible attitude to working hours to meet demand.
