Irrigation Farm Supervisor

Cleveland Agriculture is a large privately owned business that is involved in irrigated and dryland cropping, along with grass and grain fed beef production. We are currently seeking a full time Irrigation Farm Supervisor. Cotton is the predominant crop grown in the irrigation. However, grain and silage are also part of production.

The successful applicant will be

●      Highly motivated and able to show initiative

●      Able to work effectively in, as well as lead a team environment

●      Mechanically minded

At least two years of previous experience in the following areas is required

●      Furrow Irrigation

●      Pump & Machinery maintenance

●      Operation of row crop equipment with guidance

●      Spraying, ground prep, planting, harvest and earthworks.

●      A HC licence would be an advantage

●      Applicants must hold current Chemcert certificate (or willingness to obtain)

A competitive salary package including accommodation, work vehicle and phone is available. The position is located at Mungindi in northern NSW. This is a hands on position and only applicants looking for permanent work need apply.
