About the Role

You will ensure our customers have a positive experience by providing a superior level of customer service processing rental transactions, and ensuring we have vehicles groomed and ready for service at our counters.

Further to the above you will help the Duty Managers coordinate the daily activities of the team and where needed, train, coach and direct the team in their duties. Reporting noncompliance with established policies and procedures to management.  You will also assist Duty Managers with preparing shift schedules and reports. 

What we’re looking for

This is a full-time position and requires availability to work 38-hours per week on a rotational roster that will include morning, afternoons, weekends and public holidays during our operating hours, Saturday to Wednesday 07:30am - 05:00pm and Thursday & Friday 07:30 - 06:00pm.

• Applicants must have a full and valid driver’s licence.

• Previous managerial and/or leadership skills within a retail, hospitality or customer service environment

• Proven experience in coaching and developing team members, delivering feedback, and managing performance of team members (highly advantageous but not essential).

• Demonstrated ability to exercise judgement, problem solve and show initiative.

• Experience in complaints handling, conflict resolution and negotiation.

• Possesses competent planning and organisation skills and can multitask as we work in a fast-paced environment.

• Ability to competently use Microsoft office suite and learn new systems and software quickly and efficiently.
