The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Teaching Biology to students from Year 7 to Year 12, including HSC levels.
  • Developing and delivering engaging, innovative, and inclusive lesson plans that meet the NSW syllabus requirements.
  • Inspiring and motivating students to achieve their highest potential in the biological sciences.
  • Utilizing various teaching methodologies and technologies to enhance learning experiences.
  • Assessing and evaluating student progress, providing constructive feedback, and maintaining accurate records.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • A degree in Biology or a related field.
  • Teaching qualifications recognized by the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA).
  • A valid Working with Children Check.
  • Proven experience teaching Biology at secondary school level, preferably within a girls' school environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and inspire students.
  • Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive educational environment.

  • Experience with HSC Biology curriculum and assessment.
  • Ability to integrate technology effectively into teaching practices.
