Northern Health are seeking applications from a motivated and suitably experienced Health Information Manager/Clinical Coder to join the Coding Audit team.

 

About Northern Health:

Northern Health is the major provider of acute, maternity, sub-acute, mental health, specialist, community and home-based services in Melbourne’s rapidly growing outer north.

 

Services are provided through our five main campuses:

Northern Hospital Epping, Broadmeadows Hospital, Bundoora Centre, Craigieburn Centre, and Kilmore District Hospital. In addition, Mental Health Services are provided at Epping, Broadmeadows, Jacana, Preston, Mill Park and Coburg.

 

About the Role :

This role requires an experienced applicant to join our team lead by the Coding Audit Coordinator.

 

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Highly developed coding skills in casemix similar to Northern Health.
  • Excellent knowledge of the Australian Coding Standards, Activity Based Funding and statutory reporting requirements.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills and an ability to work in a team environment.
