The Role

Our architecture practice is committed to design excellence and innovation. We are looking for a passionate and motivated marketing professional with exceptional graphic design experience, an eye for visual communications, and the ability to juggle multiple projects and deadlines. Working with the Australia Architecture marketing team, you will support the architecture business group across both Sydney and Melbourne Studios. 

As Senior Graphic Designer you will join a collaborative marketing team that works together to build creative and responsible marketing collateral, finding the most effective way to get messages across in print and digital media. Reporting to the Senior Pursuits Specialist, you will be responsible for leading the visual communication of our marketing output, including pursuits, digital media, presentations, awards, etc. and, on occasion, project deliverables. This role may occasionally also see you lead pursuits and contribute to the ongoing improvement of our business development practices.

In the role of Senior Graphic Designer, we'll count on you to:

Plan, manage and deliver projects from concept through completion. Develop materials and serve as presenter/contributor/leader for meetings and assignments. Work with the marketing team and other designers on multi-component projects, including pursuits, and partner with internal clients to shape collateral. Conceptualise and design various marketing materials, researching technology/production techniques and processes as necessary with each project. Ensure quality control through approval of proofs and review/testing of materials before deployment. Perform other duties as needed. 

Qualifications & Experience

Relevant tertiary qualification (eg. Marketing, Graphic Design, Web Design, Fine Arts or equivalent.) 5+ years of professional experience, experience working within the AEC industry will be highly regarded Strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign) and Microsoft Office (PowerPoint and Outlook) Experience across Premiere, After Effects, Dreamweaver, HTML, JavaScript and CSS; offset printing/digital printing/colour correction – highly regarded. Eye for design details, such as typography, alignment, hierarchy, etc Strong portfolio showing design experience. Understanding of branding/brand development, communications and research. An attitude and commitment to being an active participant in our employee-owned culture.

This role is suited to a collaborative and creative professional, with a keen eye for design details who is looking to join a national marketing team. You will thrive working in a fast-paced, creative and team-oriented environment. This role is open to candidates based either Sydney or Melbourne.
