Do you want to provide clinical and administrative assistance and support to Allied Health Professionals to ensure the delivery of a high quality mental health care?

We want you to work within the Allied Health team at The Victoria Clinic.

The Victoria Clinic has recently moved into a new state of the art, purpose built inpatient mental health hospital, which includes a rooftop movement hub, and 115 beds. The Victoria Clinic provides a range of inpatient programs, which are growing to meet the needs of patients.

As an Allied Health Assistant your responsibilities will include:

  • Support members of the Allied Health team to provide a high standard of clinical care to patients,
  • Supporting the team to develop the weekly inpatient activity timetable Work under the direction and supervision of psychologists and physiotherapists, to help clients achieve their goals.

Desired Criteria:

  • Certificate III or IV in Allied Health Assistance and/or a Student of a Health Degree
  • Experience facilitating group programs
  • High degree of organization and administrative skills
  • Demonstrated effective interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Ability to prioritise workload, meet deadlines, manage time effectively and complete activities
