What You Will Be Doing

The Respirator Fit Tester will conduct fit testing for all Peninsula Health staff members that may be required to use a P2/N95 respirator. They may be deployed to sites during airborne pathogen outbreaks to provide coaching in Respirator use and fit checking procedure. In addition, the Respirator Fit Tester may provide administrative support to the Infection Prevention and Control (IPaCU) department as required.

We are seeking candidates that are wanting flexibility and keen to take on a role that supports all staff at Peninsula Health. This position operates on a 7-day rotating roster covering AM and PM and will be based across all sites of Peninsula Health.

What You Need

We anticipate you will have:
•Experience in a clinical hospital setting.
•Work in accordance with all relevant Occupational health and Safety, Infection Prevention and Control, and Respiratory Protection Program procedures and requirements.
•Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision.
•Knowledge and experience in use of Microsoft Office: Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel (to intermediate level)
