About the Opportunity

We currently have an exciting opportunity to join the Internal Audit Services team as a Senior Internal Auditor, where you will be responsible for:

  • Assisting in the development of the WCHN Internal Audit Plan.
  • Plan, conduct and report on internal audits projects undertaken as per the approved WCHN Internal Audit Plan.
  • Manage and undertake special projects and investigations on behalf of WCHN.
  • Provide professional advice to management within WCHN regarding risks and controls, processes and systems.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Tertiary qualification in commerce, business management, accounting, finance, economics or a co-related discipline.
  • High level interpersonal, presentation, communication and networking skills.
  • Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in assurance, audit, risk management, consulting or advisory services.
  • Sound knowledge of contemporary assurance and audit principles, standards and practices as promulgated by the relevant professional bodies.
  • Significant experience in executing audit and assurance projects.
  • Significant experience in interpreting and analysing complex information.
  • Significant experience in formulating appropriate conclusions and recommendations.
