Tasks & Responsibilities 

  • Managed day to day fleet operations around dangerous goods, making sure to provide supervision and oversight of the workforce, including the monitoring of staff [performance within line of work requirements, safety and policy regulations. .
  • Provide supervision and guidance to foster a positive work environment and encourage employees to work efficiently and within policy and legal guidelines
  • Undertake practical operations of Load Restraint.
  • Manage multiple tasks in an efficient manner, contribute, planning and execute tasks relating to branch roles and perform other tasks as appropriate.
  • Provide professional service and respond to enquiries internal and external to the business to provide excellent customer service.
  • Maintain, develop and send weekly reports around operational activity, including Operations, Safety, HR, Compliance, Maintenance, Procedures/Systems

Skills & Experience

  • Notable experience in fleet management
  • Preferred qualification in Dangerous Goods handling, advantageous.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Driver Management.
  • Commitment to Safety and Compliance standards, with a proven track record.
  • Proficiency in Chain of Responsibility and Fatigue Management protocols.
  • Capable of thriving in a fast-paced work setting, adept at managing competing priorities effectively.
  • Resourceful problem-solving skills coupled with a proactive Can-Do attitude.
