About the role

We are currently seeking a Harvesting Manager to join our dynamicteam based in Mernda, Victoria. The position is a full-time role withapproximately 6 direct reports. Reporting to the Victorian State Manager, thisrole forms part of the Leadership team. The successful candidate will ideallyhave been in a similar role working collaboratively and building strongrelationships across the business. The Harvesting Manager will proactively leadand manage the harvest and post-harvest operations by developing, implementingand driving strategies and initiatives to achieve the daily/weekly/monthlyproduction targets.

Key Responsibilities include:

Provide leadership and direction to the harvesting operations,driving the operational plans, objectives and targets. Ensure daily businesscompliance and corporate governance and continuous improvement. Review and implement measurable productivity and quality standards achievingagreed speed to fridge targets. Implement waste management initiatives to drive cost reduction. Ensure production costs are within agreedbudget. Align, build, coach & develop capability of team members. Ensure all HACCP, SQF and quality standards and procedures are met.

 Aboutyou

Previous experience in afood/FMCG is preferred. Supervisory/Leadershipexperience essential. Excellent communication skillswith the ability to convey messages accurately. Have a Continuous Improvementmindset. Working knowledge of OH&S,HACCP and SQF standards.
