Position Overview:

As a Wall and Floor Tiler at ZM Group Vic, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our projects meet the highest standards of craftsmanship. You will work on a variety of projects, from elegant residential spaces to large-scale commercial developments, applying your expertise to create visually stunning and durable tile installations.

Key Responsibilities:

-         Reviewing plans, measuring and marking surfaces, and organizing the layout of the work.

-         Prepare surfaces for tiling by cleaning, levelling, and smoothing.

-         Measure and cut tiles to fit precise dimensions.

-         Install wall and floor tiles with accuracy and attention to detail.

-         Arrange coloured tiles in patterns to form mosaics

-         Apply grout and sealants to completed tile work.

-         Implementing waterproofing solutions.

-         Inspect completed work to ensure it meets quality standards and client specifications.

-         Collaborate with project managers and other tradespeople to ensure project timelines and specifications are met.

-         Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety regulations.

Requirements:

-         Proven experience as a Wall and Floor Tiler with a strong portfolio of completed projects.

-         Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.

-         Excellent skills in measuring, cutting, and fitting tiles.

-         Knowledge of various tiling materials and techniques.

-         Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship.

-         Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

-         Good physical stamina and ability to work in various conditions.

-         Relevant certifications or qualifications in tiling are preferred.
