Are you detail-oriented, reliable, and looking for a casual role with flexible hours? The Town of Gawler is seeking Event Support Staff to join our team at the Gawler Civic Centre. This role offers you the chance to contribute to the success of various community events through essential set-up and pack-down support.

The Role:
As Event Support Staff, you will be instrumental in ensuring events at the Gawler Civic Centre run smoothly. Your primary responsibilities will include assisting with the set-up and pack-down of event equipment, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene, and supporting the overall event experience.

Job Duties:

  • Assist with the set-up and pack-down of event equipment, including tables, chairs, and other necessary items.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the event.
  • Liaise with Town of Gawler staff to ensure event requirements are met.
  • Positively contribute to the smooth running of events and facilities.
  • Follow established health and safety procedures to ensure a safe environment for all.

Certifications You Will Need:

  • Manual handling experience or certificate
  • DCSI/WWCC Employment Screening

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities
  • High level of reliability, punctuality, and self-motivation
