We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Power BI Dashboard Developer to join the Performance & Analytics team within our Sales department. This role is available on a 6 month fixed term contract basis, based at our York Street office in Sydney with hybrid working arrangements available. 

Role Purpose:
The purpose of this role is to support the Sales team by building and maintaining practical and visually appealing Power BI reports and dashboards to help track sales performance and generate insights. 

You will have an in-depth understanding of business processes and functional capabilities within FMCG and be someone that demonstrates commercial awareness and has the confidence to take the initiative to truly understand what their stakeholders want.

What skills you’ll need from day one:
• Technical Expertise in Power BI design, visualisation of data, and delivery of reporting outcomes. 
• Strong knowledge in Power BI Dataflow/Datasets.
• Strong knowledge of Power Query and DAX (with SQL knowledge preferred).
• Knowledge of data modelling.
• Strong project and change management knowledge and application. 
• Strong communicator who can simplify the complex and get their point across in a succinct manner.
• Displays the confidence to ask questions and voice recommendations.


What experience would be beneficial: 
• 3+ years experience working with Power BI building dashboards and reports from scratch is essential for success in this role.
• Experience working within the FMCG industry 
• Partnering stakeholders at all levels who have multiple and at times conflicting needs.
• Proven ability to own and deliver successful outcomes through ambiguity and change.
• Develops data models and user experiences to support wide adoption of BI solutions, especially Power BI.
