The Opportunity

Working in our Forrestfield workshop you will play a crucial part within our workshop team supporting our transport operations by maintaining our new and used commercial fleet, think Kenworth, Western Stars, Mac, Isuzu, and Freightliners. You will get your hands dirty whist working to solve complex and technical issues to keep our trucks & trailing equipment on the road.

Job tasks and responsibilities

• Scheduled servicing and routine maintenance of our fleet – prime movers, rigid trucks, trailers & dollies
• General diagnosis and repairs
• Perform preventative maintenance
• Maintain service records to a high standard
• Maintain a safe working environment

To be successful in this role, you will need the following:

• Minimum 4 years HD trade experience and holder of an Australian Qualified Trade Certificate in HD Diesel Mechanics (or similar)?
• Experience in service and repairs of trailing equipment
• Current Drivers Licence
• Forklift Licence – desirable
• Must be able to work unsupervised
• Must pass random drug & alcohol testing
