About the Opportunity

Securecorp is providing an expression of interest for Control Room Operators.

Duties and Responsibilities

The successful applicant will be responsible for but not limited to:

  • Monitor, operate and review CCTV system.
  • Communicate and liaise with emergency services and associated internal and external stakeholders.
  • Maintaining and writing accurate security incident reports, data logs, emergency response activities and visitor logs.
  • Critically assess and respond to situations of risk adeptly and in line with standard operating procedures.
  • Operate a two way radio communication network for security personal and manage the deployment of security personnel.
  • Access control to personnel, employees and visitors.
  • Take part in ongoing training programs and exercises.

Key Selection Criteria

  • Strong administrative skills, computer competency and excellent email etiquette.
  • Demonstrated ability to work within a fast-paced team environment and experience with Fire-Panels – Desirable
  • Knowledge across any of the following or similar software: Gallagher, Avigilon, Genetec, Ascom, and Passagepoint - Highly regarded

Key Certifications

  • Must have current Security Licence with Control Room Certification endorsement.
  • Current First Aid and CPR Certification.
  • Valid Driver’s licence with Transport.
  • Experience with Fire Panels.

It is essential that you have the flexibility to work rotating rosters and the willingness to work nights/weekends.
