Role Description/Criteria

The successful applicant will be willing and able to fulfil the following Key Selection Criteria:

  • Commitment to the ethos and values of Catholic Education (accredited to teach RE or a willingness to undertake accreditation)
  • ‘Go the extra mile' for children and their families, working in partnership with them and the broader community
  • Put social justice into action
  • Display enthusiasm, motivation and team oriented behaviours
  • Support school events through attendance and involvement.
  • Understanding of contemporary educational practice (Science of Learning)
  • Demonstrate some understanding of EAL-informed practice
  • Plan lessons with curriculum leaders and independently
  • Analyse and interpret data for planning and differentiation
  • Openness to ongoing learning and development
  • Plan for and/or support the use of a range of activities and resources to provide meaningful learning opportunities for all students

This is a one year contract position with the possibility of becoming ongoing.
