This is an exciting opportunity for an Accounts Payable Officer to work in an established Construction company on Sydney's Inner West

The company has a relaxed but hardworking ethos - they work hard but are able to to enjoy themselves as a team and work collaboratively with other stakeholders both internally and externally

They have a flexible working environment, onsite parking and a supportive and collaborative company culture

This is a permanent full-time position so does require someone with Permanent Residency or Citizenship

The Role:

  • End-to-end management of Accounts Payable
  • Setting up new suppliers
  • Seeking invoice approvals
  • Enter purchase orders into system
  • Matching invoices to purchase orders
  • Generating payment runs weekly and end of month
  • Account and credit card reconciliation

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience within an Accounts Payable position
  • Experience within the Construction or Infrastructure industries strongly considered
  • Working knowledge of large ERP systems and MS Excel
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
