About the Role

Based in Smithfield you will report to the Maintenance Manager and join a small and skilled team on the afternoon shift (2pm-10pm).

To be successful you will have a keen eye for detail, technical aptitude and experience in a process driven environment will be highly regarded. This is a dynamic role that requires a hands-on and energetic person with a high level of organization and the ability to work quickly and accurately while maintaining safe work practices and following procedure.

Responsibilities include:

• General electrical maintenance & repairs
• Capital project works and continuous improvement tasks
• At least 3-5 years’ work experience in industrial construction
• Job recording in CMMS systems daily
• Strictly following all required OH&S procedures

About You

To be successful in this role you will be able to work independently and as part of a team to achieve a consistently high standard of work. A high level of communication and attention to detail are key to your success in this role. You will be able to demonstrate the following:

• An Australian Electrical Licence essential
• EWP and Confined Space preferred
• Be able to work independently and as part of a team and have sound judgment skills
• The ability to adapt and change, within a very short time scale
• Sound understanding of WH&S with a strong focus and commitment on safety, quality and environment
• Planning and organisational skills
