Loader Operator

We are looking for Front-End Loader Operators to join our Geraldton team on a full-time basis. The role involves operating front-end wheel loaders to handle iron ore and other bulk commodities efficiently and safely.

To be successful in this role you will need to have:

• Familiarity with shed maintenance, ore stockpile management, and remote site work.
• Ability to manage time effectively to prioritise tasks, meet loading deadlines, and ensure efficient use of work hours without compromising safety or quality standards.
• Ability to perform under pressure and in varying environmental conditions.
• Ability to perform ore stockpile management to ensure optimal storage and accessibility, including proper stacking and organising of materials.
• Good record-keeping, which is essential for compliance purposes.
• Ability to carry out routine maintenance to mobile plant, and report faults.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with a variety of people.

This is a permanent opportunity, based in Geraldton, working 12 hour shifts on a 4/4/4 roster.  

• Valid and current licence (HR preferred but no essential)
• Verification of competency (VOC) for Front-End Wheel Loader (FEL).
• Relevant VOC’s for other machinery operations.
