In this vital role, you will be the backbone of our cardiac team, providing administrative support that ensures smooth day to day operations and enhances the experience for both patients and staff. Other key responsibilities include:
- Assist hospital with completing coronary care certificates as needed.
- Manager patient bookings, assist with medical records and coordinate appointments for the Cardiac Unit.
- Interact with patients, their families, and medical professionals.
- Prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment, ensuring smooth operation of the unit.
- Work closely with cardiologist, nurses and other staff members.
Key Skills and Experience:
- Previous Secretarial or Administration Experience: Ideally within a health care setting
- Strong Communications skills: You will be the first point of contact for patients and medical staff
- Attention to Detail: Accuracy is key, especially when managing medical records and patient information
- Adaptability and Multitasking: Ability to handle multiple priorities while maintaining a calm and professional approach
