ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a reliable, customer friendly and fast learning person to join our Operations team at our site based in Brendale QLD 4500. Enjoy the security of this permanent full-time position working Monday to Friday, 8.00am to 5pm. Reporting to the Branch Business Unit Manager, your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following: 

  • Supervise and lead a team of vehicle inspectors and forklift operators.
  • Provide strong leadership through exceptional organisation skills, setting clear direction, role clarity and performance expectations for your team.
  • Ensure WHS standards are upheld and managed as per WHS policies.
  • Monitor and manage stock location, stock audits, vehicle movements and workflow.
  • Ensure all KPI's are met in line with vehicle sales channel and vendors requirements.

ABOUT YOU

To be successful in this role, you will need to have the following skills and experience:

  • Self-motivated with a hands-on, can-do attitude
  • Adaptable and flexible in fast paced environments
  • Ability to engage and motivate a team with strong people management skills.
  • Competent verbal and written communication skills
  • Competent MS Office skills and the ability to learn our user-friendly auction system.
  • Demonstrated understanding of WH&S regulations
  • Current/valid manual Driver's licence
