Senex is looking for a motivated Graduate Engineer to join the Project Execution team in Brisbane. This is an excellent opportunity for an Mechanical Engineer Graduate to kick start their career in the natural gas industry and help Senex deliver essential energy for life.

As a Graduate Engineer you will join the Project team

The Projects Team at Senex is a multidisciplinary group of specialists comprising of project managers, project engineers and planners, cost controllers and support staff responsible for the planning, execution and completion of Senex's 60PJ Surat Basin expansion. The Team works tirelessly to ensure our expansion project is delivered on time and on budget, while adhering to quality standards and guaranteeing safety and environmental regulations are met.

We are looking for the future leaders of Senex Energy. We want graduates who:

  • Have a bachelor’s degree in either Mechanical Engineering (a double degree which includes Business or Commerce would be highly regarded)
  • Have a keen interest and passion for the resources industry and a desire to work in a dynamic high-performance environment. 
  • Are passionate about sustainability and the role natural gas will play in the energy transformation to net zero by 2050. 
  • Outcome-driven and self-motivated with independent problem-solving skills. 
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
