About the role

This is an Expression of Interest for a Mechanical Supervisor.

UGL Major Projects division is expecting significant growth for 2025 in Western Australia as we support large Building Services Projects. This is a fantastic opportunity for locals and those open to FIFO and DIDO roles. As a result, we have an Expression of Interest for Mechanical project Engineer role.

  • Supervise all site activities allocated to construction team members, ensuring safe working practices in accordance with project safety systems and processes.
  • Plan & ensure environmental management of construction activities in accordance with project’s environmental management systems and processes.
  • Ensure team members complete allocated projects in accordance with specifications of the project.
  • Planning of all construction activities in consultation with the Construction Manager, Project Manager or Senior Project Engineer.  

About You

  • Certificate III Engineering – Mechanical or Trade qualification
  • At least 5 years’ experience as a supervisor in a construction- related environment
  • Demonstrated experience leading a multi-disciplinary team including sub-contractor engagement.
  • Experience working on large accommodation villages made up of modular buildings or similar types of projects. 
  • Australian driver’s license. 
  • Whitecard
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently to organise and prioritise demands, handle multiple complex tasks and simultaneously, set and meet deadlines and follow-through within a fast-paced environment with multiple and competing demands. 
  • Strong communication skills (oral & written) including strong negotiation and influencing skills and the ability to establish effective working relationships with a variety of people at different levels both internally and externally.
