Driver/Store Worker - Anglicare Toys and Tucker

About Toys and Tucker:
At Anglicare, we think there’s no better way to share the joy of Christmas with people in need than through our annual Toys 'n' Tucker program.
Our team of Toys 'n' Tucker drivers distribute food and toy hampers to thousands of families in our community at Christmas, bring support and assistance where it’s needed most. Our team are dedicated to making a positive difference in the life of each person we serve.
It’s only through people’s generosity that Anglicare is able to provide Christmas food and gifts to thousands of families who would otherwise go without.
About the role:
In this role you will be assisting in all areas of collection, sorting and distributing donated food, toys and other donated goods.
This position is a maximum term, full-time role, based in Anglicare’s Christmas Warehouse in Villawood, NSW : multiple vacancies for 6 weeks from 11th November 2024 till 20th December 2024.
One additional vacancy available for 4 weeks from Monday 25th November to Friday 20th December
About you:
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physically able to fulfil the requirements of the position (i.e. able to list a box weighing 12kg)
- Strong communication skills and compassionate nature
- Aligned to Anglicare's values - justice, integrity, compassion, excellence
- Current NSW C Class Drivers Licence with a good driving record
- Valid Working with Children's Check or willing to obtain
- COVID-19 vaccination is strongly recommended
